Dover Western Heights

24th October 2010

It was my first day doing Napoleonic re-enacting and I was afraid I wouldn't fit in. The night before the show I stayed up all night making my skirt for the next day, every so often I would accidently think I was a pin cushion and accidently stick the pin in my finger. I got to the show and there weren't many people there at first, as the day past I made friends with lots of people. I had a lot of fun doing the show it was really exciting and enjoyable, I am definitely coming back next time, I  would definitely recommend joining  the group. When you join the group  and get to know them they become  like family, when I joined the group  they became family to me and if you look at us we are just one big happy family. I really love the group they are friendly, kind and it is so hard not to love them. I  really enjoy re-enacting with these lovely people, it was the most fantastic day of  my life, I loved every moment of it. Everyone is friendly, Elizabeth is a wonderful lady she is kind and trustworthy she does not give up easily, she keeps on trying and if that way doesn't work she try's a different way, she listens and is attentive to all, Tony is a funny, enjoyable guy that is not afraid to make a joke or speak up. There are lots of kind, friendly and lovely people in the unit, the group is small but it is marvellous and massive in kindness, trustworthiness and gentleness, I am so glad I joined this wonderful unit.
